How to facilitated oils and how to wash it off from hair easier?

I decided to gather in one place information about this topic for you and me, which I found in different parts of the Internet. If I find other interesting ways, I will definitely supplement this post 😉👌🏻

So, let's get started.
Many of us love to apply pure oils on the hair. Someone's hair can feel great after such a homemade mask. But someone faces difficulties washing off oils from hair, even if a small portion is applied. The hair (especially straight, thin and low-porous) after such a mask may look dull, languid, stray into separate strands and so on. But there are some tricks that can help in this case:

✔️SOME EMOLLIENTS
For example: Caprylic/capric triglyceride; Isoamyl Laurate, Isoamyl Cocoate.
They're added in oils and then used as a usual oil mask.

Caprylic/capric triglyceride:
are a specific fraction of coconut/palm oil fatty acids resulting in only the more stable, and skin loving, caprylic & capric fatty acids which creates a dry, silky oil form of esters. Derived from coconut oil and glycerin. It's a clear, non-viscous liquid. It helps to replenish the skin and resist moisture loss. It acts as an excellent emollient, dispersing agent and skin-replenishing ingredient. It is especially suited to sensitive and oily skin.

✔️HYDROPHILIC OIL
Hydrophilic oil mix is able to bind and dissolve fats. When mixed with water, the hydrophilic oil forms a light and slightly foaming substance resembling milk.
Hydrophilic oil can consist of several types of natural and synthetic oils, as well as an emulsifier. It's the last component that provides the conversion of oil into milk, which allows you to cleanse and degrease the skin and hair.
To prepare such an oil, you will need a component such as Polysorbate (Tween). Just add it to the oil mask and then apply on dry hair. After a while, lightly moisten your hair with water, emulsify well to form a white foam and then rinse with water till the end. With this cleansing, shampoo may not even be necessary.

✔️AYURVEDIC POWDERS
After you have left oil on your hair for several hours, you can apply a mask of ayurvedic powders on top of it, especially those that contain saponins (organic compounds from glycosides of plant origin with surface-active properties and also show the unique properties of foaming and emulsifying agents).
For example: shikakai, saponaria officinalis, tulsi, sidr (jujube), reetha (aritha, sapindus mukurossi).

✔️CONDITIONER
When it's time to wash off the oils from hair, don't rush to use shampoo. To begin, moisten your hair well with water and then apply conditioner, balm or a mask (but only which don't contain silicones or other film formers!). Spread it over entire hair length, emulsify well, after rinse with water and only then proceed to wash your hair with shampoo.
These care products contain components (emoillents, surfactants and etc.) that help flush a significant amount of oil from the hair.

✔️SHAMPOO
This method of washing off the oil mask is to apply shampoo to DRY hair, along the entire length or where you applied the oil. And only then rinse your hair under water. Next, if necessary, you can apply the shampoo a second time.

Of course, all of these steps can be combined with each other.
